Many times you did a research for some unique, custom, special cakes online and even if you found one, the next question was: who can make this cake? where can i get it from? how much will it cost? will it be as the one in the picture that I like? I know what I woud like to order but I'm not too creative, so who can help me to create something special?

Ordering a cake is very easy, you just have to follow some simple steps.
Custome cakes are like tailored suits or dresses - made JUST FOR YOU, so it will fit you perfectly. They can be original designs, which will make them even more special or they could be inspired by some beautiful cakes that you saw and liked. Custom, special cakes are slowly replacing presents for the party, because they are the perfect present. Nothing will put a smile on the face of your loved ones, like the custome cake incorporated with details made especially for them. Feel free to ask any questions and provide more details and information on what you whish for.

The best way to contact us is to send an email at : info@cakesbylananewyork.com. We will get back to you within 48-72 hours. The best days to talk about your order are Monday, Tuesday and Wendsday, the rest of the days are very busy, but we will get back to you as soon as possible. Consultations are scheduled Monday - Wendsday 11AM-4PM, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, please, call to schedule.

PRICING
Cakes are priced according to several different criteria.
The base price is $10 per slice for layered cake with filling. Price of the cake will increase by adding gum paste decoration, hand painting, cake sculpting, 3D figurines, fresh flowers, etc.
Special events, such as wedding cakes, start at $12-$25 per slice. Sculpted cakes start at $350. Minimum order is $265 for fondant cakes.
After confirming all details about your oder, 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQURED to secure your booking with full payment due 2 weeks prior to your event.
Payment methods are CARD, CASH, VENMO. You will receive receipt on text message and email and have printed copy as well. Invoice is provided for Venmo payments.

When you are ordering a cake is good to know about basic cake servings charts and popular tier combinations guides, so you will know what size of the cake will you expect to get and it will give you a better understanding of how much you will be charged, especially because THE CAKES ARE CHARGED PER SLICE.
These charts are based on a wedding cake servings size of 1" x 2" portion. These are 4" - 5" tall cakes.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN YOU GET THE CAKE
After you receive the cake (when you pick it up or when it's delivered) and it's in your hands we are no longer responsible for it. The cake can be out in a room temperature up to 4 hours (but not in the summer, or high-temperature enviroment).
Cake has to be refrigerated or you can keep it in the feezer (leftovers).
Cake might change the shape or "sweat" if the temperature is high - just put it back in the fridge.
PICK UP AND DELIVERY
Since we are located in the heart of Flushing, Queens, NY, you will find us easily for pick up of the cake (street parking), but if you would like delivery, there there will be a delivery fee of $2 per mile both ways plus tolls both ways.
Deliveries to:
Manhattan are $75 flat rate.
For bigger cakes, or cakes with higher complexity level of design that might need assembling and special care upon arriving will also differ in price.
ALLERGIES
Please, note that cakes and confectionery are made in the same facility that operate with nuts, milk, eggs, wheat and to be aware of dairy and nut allergy. People with SEVERE ALLERGIES please, note that we will do our best to prevent any interaction with allergen ingredients but we CAN NOT be responsible if accidentlly small particles, ending up in the cake.
